With attribution and great respect to John Scalzi (http://whatever.scalzi.com/about/site-disclaimer-and-comment-policy/)
This site is my site, and hence my opinion (except for comments written by others, which are their opinions). This subject can be uncomfortable for some people and many may not agree with my opinions. I won’t always be polite, fair, or nice. My family and I have suffered a great deal and I think that makes us experts on this subject.
This site is my voice and public soap-box, if something offends you it is not my duty to stop writing it is your duty to stop visiting.
Finally, with props to my dad – this site is not a democracy. You do not get a vote. If you think you deserve one, you are wrong.
I welcome comments. I want to start a dialog on the problem of Drunk Driving in Canada and your thoughts and opinions are invited. I would prefer to take a laissez-faire attitude towards comment moderation.
Having said that, there is no right to free speech on this site. I reserve the right to edit all comments, and to moderate all comment threads, as I see fit. Expect to be edited, moderated or deleted if your comment is a personal attack, threatening or unrelated to the post. If you troll – gone. If you are obnoxious – gone. See the pattern?
